Coach JP Pietersen is sweating on injured lock Eben Etzebeth and flyhalf Vusi Moyo after the Sharks' 39-22 URC defeat to the Stormers.

Sharks coach JP Pietersen confirmed that lock Eben Etzebeth is in severe pain after sustaining a knee injury during Saturday's coastal derby against the Stormers in Cape Town. Flyhalf Vusi Moyo was also forced off early with a suspected dislocated shoulder as the Sharks fell to a 39-22 United Rugby Championship defeat.
Pietersen explained that Etzebeth could not run following the first-half injury, which was tentatively assessed as a bruised knee. Coupled with yellow cards for flanks Matt Romao and Manu Tshituka, the injuries disrupted the Sharks' momentum after the score had been locked at 8-8.
