Katie Buchanan will get her first Scotland start this Saturday as Dave Butcher's side resume their WXV Global Series campaign against the Wallaroos in Sydney.

Katie Buchanan will make her first start for Scotland this Saturday as Dave Butcher's squad faces Australia at Accor Stadium in Sydney. The match marks the continuation of Scotland's WXV Global Series campaign, occurring just three weeks after the Wallaroos secured a 30-10 victory over Scotland in Edinburgh. Following this fixture, the two teams will complete their autumn series with a subsequent meeting in Canberra.
Buchanan's inclusion on the wing replaces Shona Campbell, who moves to the bench, representing one of two adjustments to Butcher's starting lineup. Scrum-half Leia Brebner-Holden also receives her first autumn start, pairing with vice-captain Helen Nelson in the halves. The remainder of Scotland's starting lineup remains unchanged, featuring Rachel Malcolm as captain alongside an unaltered pack and midfield.
