Dewi Lake and Jac Morgan starred on their Premiership Rugby debuts for Gloucester, leading the team to a 45-24 victory against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park. Lake, appointed club captain by director of rugby George Skivington, scored two tries and was named player of the match. Morgan played the full 80 minutes and registered a match-high 20 tackles in the opening-weekend win.
