This weekend sees a huge Irish derby in the BKT URC with Leinster Rugby and Munster Rugby locking horns in Dublin.

Former Irish internationals Alan Quinlan and Ian Madigan previewed the upcoming United Rugby Championship derby between Leinster Rugby and Munster Rugby at Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Quinlan highlighted the positional switch of hooker Dan Sheehan to cover back-row injuries, praising him as an outstanding athlete who could even feature in the backline. Madigan agreed on Sheehan's immense athletic capability, backing the tactical experiment to be a temporary success.
The pair also discussed Joey Carbery making his first start of the season at fly-half for Leinster against his former club, with Madigan predicting an emotional and impactful outing. Looking at the broader rivalry, Quinlan and Madigan recalled Munster's upset victory at Croke Park last season, noting that head coach Leo Cullen and Leinster will be highly motivated to respond in a fiercely contested interprovincial clash.
