Ugo Monye calls former club Harlequins' 48-0 defeat by Gloucester "one of the worst performances I have ever seen".

Former Harlequins winger Ugo Monye described Harlequins' 48-0 defeat to Gloucester as one of the worst performances he has ever seen. Speaking on the Rugby Union Weekly podcast, Monye criticized the team's display across multiple areas, noting they were dominated in the scrum, line-out, and gain line during their heaviest league defeat in 26 years.
Monye also questioned the club's summer recruitment strategy, arguing that Harlequins prioritized signing full-back George Furbank instead of strengthening the forward pack. The heavy loss left Harlequins at the bottom of the Gallagher Premiership table after conceding eight tries and scoring zero points.
