The Black Ferns have welcomed Grace Brooker back into the squad for the first time since the midfielder's AFL excursion last year, and announced two additional changes to their squad for the three-Test series against France kicking off next week.
The Black Ferns have recalled midfielder Grace Brooker to their 30-player squad for the upcoming three-Test series against France starting next week. Brooker returns to the national team for the first time following her stint playing Australian rules football last year, taking a spot as Alena Saili and Maia Davis shift focus to the Black Ferns Sevens program.
Head coach Whitney Hansen praised the Matatu captain's leadership and diligence ahead of the campaign. New Zealand also confirmed that Ruahei Demant and Mia Anderson have been included despite recent calf injuries, with Demant already resuming on-field activities.
