“In just 365 days, Australia will welcome the world for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027, a landmark tournament that coincides with the competition's 40th anniversary and promises to be the biggest and most accessible celebration of rugby ever staged.

World Rugby has marked the one-year countdown to the Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 by announcing that 1.3 million tickets have already been purchased. Supporters from 164 countries have secured over half of the available seats for the tournament, which will take place across Australia from October 1 to November 13, 2027.
The expanded 24-team tournament features 52 matches held in seven host cities: Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney, and Townsville. Organizers expect over 250,000 international visitors, with general adult ticket prices starting at AUD$40 and children's tickets starting at AUD$20.
