Eight days removed from a frustrating home loss to open the season, Alex Sanderson's Sale Sharks pulled off the rarest of away wins at the Stone-X to down Saracens 21 - 17.

Sale Sharks secured a 21-17 away victory against Saracens at StoneX Stadium in round two of the Gallagher Premiership. Despite playing with a man disadvantage after Jacques Vermeulen received an early red card in the 17th minute, Alex Sanderson's side relied on resolute defense and tries from Nathan Jibulu, Tom O'Flaherty, and Ben Bamber to hold off the hosts.
RugbyPass evaluated the Sharks squad, awarding hooker Nathan Jibulu the top rating of 9 after scoring an opening maul try and recording 13 tackles. Winger Tom O'Flaherty and flanker Tom Curry each earned 8.5 ratings for their crucial offensive and defensive contributions during the victory.
