BREAKING: Springbok loose forward Kwagga Smith appears to be closing in on a move to the Bulls, with Rugby365 understanding that negotiations with the Pretoria-based franchise are in the final stages and an announcement is imminent.

Springbok loose forward Kwagga Smith is reportedly close to completing a permanent move to the Pretoria-based Bulls. Negotiations between Smith and the franchise have reached their final stages, with an official announcement expected within the next week or two following confirmation of his departure from Japanese side Shizuoka Blue Revs.
The 32-year-old double Rugby World Cup winner spent eight years in Japan after joining the club in 2018, making 78 appearances and earning 63 caps for South Africa. Bulls coach Johan Ackermann confirmed the franchise's interest in signing Smith last month, alongside fellow Springbok Malcolm Marx.
