The Bulls have turned to the Stormers to bolster their tighthead prop stocks due to a mini injury crisis.

The Bulls are set to sign Stormers tighthead prop Hencus van Wyk for at least the month of October. Johan Ackermann's squad moved for the 34-year-old veteran to address an injury crisis at Loftus Versfeld after Mornay Smith and Mawande Mdanda were both sidelined until December.
Van Wyk previously represented the Bulls from 2011 to 2016 before stints with multiple clubs, including the Lions and Cheetahs. Meanwhile, Stormers prop Sazi Sandi has reportedly signed a long-term contract to join the Bulls once his current deal expires in June next year.
