Matteo Berrettini has withdrawn from his third-round match against Carlos Alcaraz at the Rolex Paris Masters, sending the second seed into the quarter-finals. A match from Court 1 moves to Court Central.

Matteo Berrettini withdrew from his scheduled third-round match against Carlos Alcaraz at the Rolex Paris Masters due to persistent arm pain. The walkover automatically advanced the second seed into the quarter-finals without stepping on the court. Berrettini announced the decision on social media, explaining that the discomfort he carried for several days prevented him from playing.
The Italian had advanced to the third round after securing victories over Brandon Nakashima and Ugo Humbert. With Berrettini's withdrawal, world No. 3 Alcaraz moves on to face either Arthur Fils or Taylor Fritz in Friday's quarter-final match.
