Iga Swiatek's fans recently stepped up to defend her after Daniela Hantuchova’s bold revelations about the Pole.

Tennis fans criticized Madrid Open official Daniela Hantuchova after she accused Iga Swiatek and her team of demanding behavior. Speaking on the Kanar+ podcast, Hantuchova claimed Swiatek requested laundry assistance in 2024, and her psychologist asked for warm chicken during a 2025 city-wide blackout. Supporters argued on social media that handling player requests was Hantuchova's responsibility as part of the tournament's management team.
Amid the backlash, Swiatek is currently competing at the Wuhan Open, where she defeated Magdalena Frech and Ashlyn Krueger to reach the quarterfinals against Ann Li. That run follows a quarterfinal appearance at the China Open in Beijing, where Swiatek was eliminated by Elise Mertens.
