Jannik Sinner won his fifth Grand Slam and won five consecutive Masters titles this year, and yet the most talked-about part of his game this autumn is his body. The Italian world No. 1 has not played a single match…

Italian Tennis and Padel Federation president Angelo Binaghi commented on Jannik Sinner's recurring physical setbacks, stating that the world No. 1 is not a superhuman like Novak Djokovic or a player of Rafael Nadal's raw strength. Sinner ended his 2026 season prematurely in October following knee inflammation that kept him sidelined since his Wimbledon title in July.
Binaghi emphasized that Sinner must continue building his physical conditioning. He also addressed reported coaching changes, noting that Magnus Norman is linked to joining Simone Vagnozzi in Sinner's camp, while Darren Cahill is reportedly expected to step down.
