Renowned tennis journalist David Kane announced on social media that Tennis Channel eliminated its entire editorial department, ending his nearly five-year tenure with the company. The reported closure follows previous editorial cuts at Tennis.com after the French Open, which saw the departures of longtime writers Pete Bodo and Steve Tignor. Sinclair, which acquired Tennis Media Company in 2017 and ceased the print magazine in 2022, has reportedly shifted Tennis.com's focus toward match data, schedules, and multimedia content.
