Ullmark exited the Senators’ dramatic 5-1 win over the Panthers with a lower-body injury.

The Ottawa Senators placed starting goaltender Linus Ullmark on injured reserve on Thursday following a lower-body injury. Ullmark exited early in the third period of Ottawa's 5-1 victory against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night after stopping 17 of 18 shots. Backup goaltender Samuel Ersson completed the game.
Ullmark holds a 7-1-0 record with a .945 save percentage and a 1.33 goals-against average this season. With Ullmark sidelined, Ersson is expected to take over starting duties, while Jonas Johansson has been recalled from the roster pool to serve as backup.
