The big defender has been out since May after suffering an Achilles injury but has reached a recovery milestone as rehab ramps up

Hearts defender Craig Halkett has set his sights on helping the club qualify for the Champions League over the next couple of seasons. Speaking during television coverage of Hearts' 1-1 Conference League draw against Nordsjaelland, the 31-year-old expressed confidence in the squad's long-term direction following their near-miss in the Scottish Premiership title race last term.
Halkett also provided an encouraging update regarding his recovery from a ruptured Achilles suffered late last season. Having recently returned to running five months post-surgery, the centre-back is targeting a return to full first-team action around the New Year under manager Wouter Vrancken.
