Emma Navarro has offered fans an unfiltered look into her personal health battles.

American tennis player Emma Navarro has opened up about serious health battles that have forced her to end her season early. The 25-year-old revealed on Instagram that she was diagnosed with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) and Hashimoto's disease. The conditions caused severe symptoms including extreme fatigue, mood changes, brain fog, vision problems, and weakness that left her struggling to move.
Navarro explained that she had been under-fueling her body for roughly three years while mistakenly trying to optimize performance through weight loss. Having regained weight and adjusted her diet, she announced she will skip upcoming tournaments in Asia to focus on her health and medication, aiming to return to competition in Australia in 2027.
