The Philadelphia Eagles revealed that quarterback Jalen Hurts is dealing with a blood clot in his calf.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that quarterback Jalen Hurts will miss Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers after a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in a blood clot in his calf. Hurts was initially cleated during a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams and later played in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars before further testing showed the clot had shifted.
With Hurts sidelined while undergoing treatment, Philadelphia will rely on backup quarterbacks Tanner McKee and rookie Cole Payton. Hurts has thrown for 933 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions this season as the Eagles look to end a three-game losing streak.
