San Francisco 49ers trade pitch swaps 1st-round pick for $106 million edge rusher.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox proposed that the San Francisco 49ers trade a first-round draft pick to acquire Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby. Knox argued that San Francisco has ample salary cap space and should make an aggressive move to upgrade its pass rush ahead of the November 10 NFL trade deadline, especially with the defense recording only 15 sacks this season.
Crosby, who previously signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension with Las Vegas, was nearly traded to the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks in March before Baltimore backed out following a medical review of his knee. Across his career with the Raiders, the two-time All-Pro has accumulated 69.5 sacks.
