Jake Paul saw the UFC champion's post and couldn't resist responding.

Jake Paul has responded to UFC Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland after the mixed martial artist threatened to fulfill his contract and switch to boxing. Strickland voiced frustration over UFC fighter pay compared to boxing purses and proposed moving up weight classes to speed through his contract for a lucrative boxing match against Paul. In response on social media, Paul told Strickland to have his promoter contact Most Valuable Promotions if he is out of contract.
Strickland won the UFC middleweight belt for a second time against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 328 in May. Paul holds a 12-2 professional boxing record and has been out of action since sustaining a jaw injury in a December 2025 loss to Anthony Joshua.
