Three senior judges have now rejected his case…

Former Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has lost a child support legal dispute at the Court of Appeal. The court's decision clears the mothers of two of his children to pursue around £137,000 each in unpaid maintenance payments. Morgan had previously claimed he was unemployed after retiring, leading the Child Maintenance Service to initially reduce his payments to £0, which he argued eliminated his court-ordered support obligations.
Lady Justice King rejected Morgan's argument, labeling the outcome he sought as absurd and noting it would create an unfair power imbalance. A previous tribunal found that despite retiring from football, Morgan's annual income ranged between £220,000 and £240,000 across four years, largely from rental earnings. Unless an agreement is reached, the dispute will return to the family court.
