San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel will miss multiple games after sustaining a hamstring injury on Sunday, head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed. The injury occurred during the second half of the 49ers' 39-32 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Shanahan described the issue as severe, noting that Samuel will be sidelined for "some time."
Through five games, Samuel posted 16 receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns, alongside 78 rushing yards. With Samuel sidelined, San Francisco retains four healthy receivers on its 53-man roster, while defensive end Nick Bosa is reportedly nearing a return from a calf injury ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
