Former Leicester Tigers and Harlequins boss Paul Gustard will remain Stade Français boss until at least 2029 after agreeing to a two-year extension to his deal, which was due to run out at the end of this season.

Paul Gustard has signed a two-year contract extension with Stade Français, keeping him as head coach until at least 2029. The former Leicester Tigers and Harlequins boss had a deal set to expire at the end of the season, alongside an existing one-year option. Club owner Hans-Peter Wild rewarded Gustard following a notable turnaround in the team's fortunes since he took charge in October 2024.
After taking over following the departure of Karim Ghezal, Gustard guided Stade Français away from relegation trouble to a third-place Top 14 finish last season. Despite falling 25-15 to Montpellier in the semi-finals, Gustard stated his ultimate ambition remains securing a league title.
