Mookie Betts says he's been through the challenge of adjusting after injury and understands what Shohei Ohtani is facing during his postseason slump.

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts offered support for teammate Shohei Ohtani following Ohtani's struggles and injury challenges during the postseason. Betts noted that Ohtani was trying his best to battle through his difficulties as the Dodgers were swept in four games by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.
Betts indicated he could relate to Ohtani's experience of attempting to overcome a slump while dealing with injuries, recalling his own experience returning from a fractured hand suffered during the 2024 season. Despite hitting a three-run home run in Game 4, Ohtani managed just five hits across 26 postseason at-bats.
