Eala urged to improve her serve in the off-season.

Alexandra Eala enters a crucial phase of her season that could set her up to break into the top 10 rankings in 2027, according to former British No. 1 Greg Rusedski. Speaking on an upcoming edition of his podcast, Rusedski stated that the upcoming off-season is vital for Eala to address technical areas of her game following a breakthrough year where she won her first WTA Tour title in Washington and defeated Iga Swiatek at Wimbledon.
Rusedski emphasized that improving the speed and accuracy of Eala's serve during the six-week break will be essential to reaching Grand Slam quarterfinals and semifinals next year. He noted that opponents will adapt to her style in her second season, removing the surprise factor, but expressed confidence that her work ethic and coaching team will help her continue rising through the ranks.
