O'Neill remains firm on his stance regarding the pitch invasion
Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has dismissed criticism regarding Celtic supporters invading the pitch following their Scottish Premiership title win against Hearts last season. O'Neill stated he "couldn't care less" about the reaction to the celebrations ahead of welcoming Hearts back to Celtic Park this Sunday.
The pitch invasion occurred after Callum Osmand scored a 97th-minute goal to secure a 3-1 win and the championship. O'Neill defended the reaction, explaining he would have completely accepted the euphoria and similar celebrations from Hearts supporters if they had won the title instead.
