It has been three years since Tedesco last donned the Kangaroos colours, which has not deterred him from clinching every accolade rugby league has to offer.
James Tedesco says he does not view his upcoming Test match against Fiji as a direct battle to fend off challenger Reece Walsh for Australia's fullback jersey. Tedesco will make his Kangaroos comeback on Sunday at Suncorp Stadium after last playing for Australia in 2023. The 33-year-old stated that his priority is focusing on playing well rather than competing against his teammate.
Walsh made an impressive return from injury in Australia's 24-22 victory over New Zealand while grand final players were rested. Meanwhile, halfback Sam Walker is expected to make his Test debut alongside Tom Dearden, as Cameron Munster is rested and Mitchell Moses is sidelined with a tournament-ending leg injury.
