New Warrington Wolves signing Mitchell Prest has received the first disciplinary charge of this year's Rugby League World Cup. The Fiji prop was handed a Grade 1 charge for a careless high tackle on Cook Islands winger Cameron Brown in the eighth minute of Fiji's victory on Sunday in Newcastle.
Prest faces a choice between accepting an early guilty plea, which carries a warning, or challenging the charge before a panel where a guilty verdict would result in a one-match suspension. No other charges were issued across the tournament's opening weekend.
