San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was stumped during practice warm-ups by teammate Mike Evans regarding who won the 2013 Biletnikoff Award. Purdy guessed Evans won college football's top receiver award, only for Evans to reveal that fellow 49ers wideout Brandin Cooks earned the honor while playing for Oregon State.
Purdy expressed excitement about playing alongside veteran receivers he grew up watching, noting he asks Cooks about former quarterback Drew Brees. Cooks recently scored his first touchdown with San Francisco during a 32-29 victory against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5.
