Blue Jays free agent target: Raisel Iglesias

BlueJaysNation argues that the Toronto Blue Jays should target free agent relief pitcher Raisel Iglesias this off-season to strengthen their bullpen depth. Although Toronto's front office reportedly pursued Iglesias last winter before he re-signed with the Atlanta Braves on a one-year, $16 million deal, the writer suggests the veteran would serve as an effective setup option behind closer Louis Varland.

The writer notes that Iglesias posted a 2.55 ERA and 34 saves in 59 games with the Braves, earning an All-Star selection. However, with the reliever turning 37 years old, the outlet projects that a one-year free-agent deal worth around $14 million would be a reasonable contract for Toronto to offer.
