Liverpool did try to sign Endrick back in the summer. That didn't work out - and now things have seen a wild development.
Liverpool's potential pursuit of Endrick has been complicated following the Brazilian's decisive performance for Real Madrid against AS Roma. After attempting to sign the forward in the summer on a permanent deal, the Reds monitored his situation as he struggled for playing time. However, Endrick came off the bench on Wednesday to score and help inspire a 4-3 comeback victory in the UEFA Champions League.
AnfieldWatch notes that Endrick had played just four minutes all season before playing 31 minutes in Rome. His goal and indirect assist for Carlos Espi may push him back into contention under Real Madrid management, clouding Liverpool's hopes of securing a transfer.
