Steven Gerrard "doesn't deserve" the Wrexham job despite earning another crack at management, according to Tony Cascarino.
Tony Cascarino has stated that former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard does not deserve the Wrexham managerial job, despite being linked with the role. Speaking on talkSPORT, Cascarino explained that while Gerrard deserves another opportunity in management somewhere, he is not the right fit to replace under-fire manager Phil Parkinson at the Championship club.
Parkinson faces growing pressure after Wrexham secured only two wins from their opening 10 league matches. Gerrard has been out of management since leaving Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq in January 2025, following earlier managerial spells with Aston Villa and Rangers.
