Kittle wants the Niners to kick the tires of the future Hall of Famer.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle asked general manager John Lynch about potentially trading for Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack. According to NBC Sports reporter Matt Maiocco, Lynch revealed that Kittle approached him on Thursday regarding the veteran pass rusher. Mack currently has three sacks for the winless Chargers.
The California Post notes that the 49ers have experienced multiple defensive line injuries this season. While acquiring the three-time First-Team All-Pro could bolster San Francisco's defensive front ahead of the postseason, any potential trade would likely require Lynch to give up significant assets in return.
