Manchester United played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday - but Daniel Farke's side thought they should have had a penalty

Former referee Keith Hackett argued that Leeds United should have received a penalty against Manchester United after Harry Maguire clashed with Ethan Ampadu in a 1-1 draw at Elland Road. Referee Darren England did not award a spot-kick, and VAR did not intervene, with Hackett claiming VAR avoided intervening to keep a low profile.
Hackett also suggested England suffered from mental exhaustion following his VAR duties during Liverpool's win over Brentford the prior day. Meanwhile, former referee Dermot Gallagher supported the non-penalty decision on Ref Watch, describing the coming together as a mutual tangle between the two players.
