The Chicago Bears know a thing or two about injury issues. They were plagued by them most of last season, especially on defense. It’s been much the same this year. Dayo Odeyingbo landed on Injured Reserve with a quad injury…

Erik Lambert of Sports Mockery argues that while the Chicago Bears are dealing with numerous injuries, the New England Patriots face a significantly worse health situation ahead of their Thursday night matchup. New England suffered heavy casualties against the New York Jets, leaving them potentially without seven starters and two key backups, mostly on the offensive side of the ball.
Lambert notes that New England's losses include receiver Rome Doubs, who was placed on Injured Reserve, and guard Alijah Vera-Tucker with a hamstring issue. With the Patriots dealing with offensive line instability in front of quarterback Drake Maye, Lambert writes that the Bears have a strong opportunity to win at home on a short week.
