One change for Australia as they lose a toss for the first time in five white-ball matches this month

Phoebe Litchfield has returned from a low-grade hip strain as Australia was sent in to bat against New Zealand in the second Rose Bowl T20I at North Sydney Oval. Litchfield replaces Tahlia McGrath in the only change to Australia's playing XI, marking the first time in five white-ball matches this month that Australia has lost the toss and been asked to set a target.
New Zealand fielded an unchanged lineup as they aim to overturn a 1-0 series deficit. Australia narrowly won the opening match by two wickets after slipping from 1-102 to 8-159 chasing 163, with allrounder Georgia Wareham noting the team's aggressive batting had become reckless.
