Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden revealed that he is not ruling out cutting off his iconic beard once he officially retires from basketball. Speaking in a recent interview shared by the NBA on X, the 11-time All-Star stated that he plans to keep his facial hair while playing, but may consider shaving it once he is permanently away from the cameras.
Harden, who turned 37 in August, is entering his 18th NBA season and his first full campaign with the Cavaliers. Cleveland is scheduled to open its season on Thursday against LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.
