Former Australia vice-captain to leave the Sydney Sixers as she and her family relocate overseas…

Rachael Haynes is stepping down as general manager of the Sydney Sixers at the end of the month as she prepares to relocate to the United Kingdom with her family. Haynes, a former Australia vice-captain, had held the leadership role since early 2024. Hayden McIntosh has been named interim general manager to oversee the upcoming WBBL and BBL seasons.
The overseas move follows Haynes' partner, Leah Poulton, taking a position as England's new managing director of women's cricket with the ECB. McIntosh will manage commercial and consumer operations alongside Cricket NSW's Greg Mail, with the search for a permanent replacement scheduled to begin in early 2027.
