The Dallas Cowboys are reshuffling both the 53-man roster and the practice squad before a must-win Monday Night Football matchup. One special teams standout is finally getting his reward.
The Dallas Cowboys executed multiple roster transactions ahead of their Week 7 "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas signed quarterback Kyle Trask to the practice squad after the Eagles recently claimed Joe Milton. Additionally, the team promoted safety Juanyeh Thomas from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster and waived cornerback Caelen Carson.
Trask provides third-string depth behind backup Sam Howell, while Thomas earned a permanent roster spot following heavy involvement on special teams over recent games. Carson, a former fifth-round draft selection out of Wake Forest, was released after failing to secure a consistent role in the secondary.
