Tonight, the Canadiens lost to the Sharks. It's a painful loss, especially since the Habs were in control of a game they let slip away. Once again, the team blew a lead in the third period.
Montreal Canadiens forward Ivan Demidov was seen still wearing a plastic walking boot on his right foot following the team's overtime loss to the Sharks. Stu Cowan reported the sighting outside the locker room, where Demidov was seen speaking with former Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov.
Demidov's continued use of the boot suggests an immediate return to action is unlikely, with a comeback for Friday's game appearing doubtful. However, Montreal's initial timeline projected his return between October 20 and November 3, meaning his recovery remains within the originally expected window as the Canadiens begin a four-game road trip.
