The Clippers' old identity is gone. Finding a new one won't come easy.

Head coach Tyronn Lue enters his seventh season facing a complete rebuild with the LA Clippers following the departure of Kawhi Leonard. Following league penalties for salary-cap circumvention and a roster overhaul, only three players remain from the team's 2025 playoff squad. Lue and newly acquired point guard Darius Garland are tasked with leading the revamped franchise.
The Clippers begin the season dealing with multiple injuries, including Brandon Ingram and Max Strus, who are both week-to-week. The organization is also navigating executive suspensions for owner Steve Ballmer, Gillian Zucker, and Lawrence Frank, alongside the forfeiture of first-round picks from 2029 through 2033.
