Andrew Armstrong, who came up from the practice squad, played in 42 snaps in Week 6. What led the Chiefs to give him that much playing time?

Hunter Stanton of Arrowhead Addict analyzes why practice squad call-up Andrew Armstrong received 42 offensive snaps for the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6. While wide receiver injuries prompted his elevation, Stanton argues Armstrong earned 69 percent of offensive snaps largely due to his exceptional run-blocking ability supporting running back Kenneth Walker.
Beyond opening running lanes, Armstrong added a 13-yard reception setting up a touchdown and drew praise from head coach Andy Reid for his offense and special teams contributions. Although Armstrong reverted to the practice squad on October 19, Kansas City holds two remaining roster elevations for him before requiring an active roster spot.
