The 26-year-old opener has spoken about his renewed focus on cricket, family and personal improvement as he targets a return to the India national team.
Prithvi Shaw has revealed his ambition to earn a recall to the Indian national cricket team, citing a major lifestyle shift focused strictly on cricket, family, and personal development. Speaking to MyKhel, the 26-year-old opening batter stated that he has stepped away from social media and avoids going out, aiming to eliminate distractions and work harder than ever.
Shaw last played for India in July 2021 against Sri Lanka before facing setbacks from injuries, form dips, and disciplinary issues. Now captaining Maharashtra in the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy, he recently scored 70 against Services following a prolific 537-run campaign in the previous domestic season.
