The Vegas Golden Knights placed defenseman Lukas Cormier on waivers on Wednesday, making him available across the NHL. If Cormier clears waivers on Thursday, the team can assign him to their AHL affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights. The 24-year-old blueliner began the 2026-27 season on the non-roster injured list after sustaining an undisclosed injury during training camp.
Cormier is coming off his most productive professional season, having registered 47 points in the AHL last year. In other roster activity, Vegas called up forward Alex Holtz, who recorded eight points in five games with Henderson this season.
