The Los Angeles Kings recalled forward Jared Wright from their AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. The move brings Los Angeles back to a full 23-man active roster, according to PuckPedia’s tracking.
The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Jared Wright from their AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, bringing the team back to a full 23-man active roster. The 23-year-old forward had previously been reassigned to the AHL on October 17 before being brought back up to provide forward depth for head coach Peter Laviolette.
Wright has registered three points in five AHL games this season and played one NHL game on October 10 against the Vegas Golden Knights. His promotion comes as the Kings manage several forward injuries, including Quinton Byfield, who is day-to-day with an upper-body injury, as well as Alex Turcotte and Kevin Fiala.
