AC Milan are reportedly in advanced discussions to hire Markus Krösche as their new Head of Football after the executive officially departed Eintracht Frankfurt. Journalists Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto confirmed that negotiations are nearing completion following months of interest from the Serie A side and Milan owner Gerry Cardinale.
A summer move was previously blocked due to compensation disputes with Eintracht Frankfurt, but personal terms had already been established in June. The remaining details center on defining Krösche's exact responsibilities alongside manager Ruben Amorim, whom Krösche had previously approved before the Portuguese coach took charge.
