Jurgen Klopp is one of the contributors to a new biography about Diogo Jota, and says he still can't process the tragic loss of the Portuguese forward…

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he still struggles to process the tragic death of forward Diogo Jota, sharing his grief in a new biography celebrating the Portuguese player's life. Klopp explained that he remains lost for words following the fatal car crash in northern Spain that took the lives of 28-year-old Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
In the book, Klopp recalled having a strong gut feeling after watching Jota play for Wolves, prompting him to personally push Liverpool's recruitment team to complete the permanent signing in September 2020. Jota went on to win the Premier League title under Arne Slot in 2025 shortly before the fatal accident.
