Beauden Barrett has extended his All Blacks try record to 48 after a Bledisloe double in Sydney inched him closer to the former spot held by Doug Howlett.

All Blacks fullback Beauden Barrett scored two tries in a Bledisloe Cup victory over Australia in Sydney, increasing his career tally to 48 tries. His performance included a 70-meter intercept try right on halftime, where he managed to outpace pursuing Wallabies fullback Tom Wright.
Now sitting on 147 Test appearances, Barrett is just three matches away from reaching the milestone of 150 caps. He credited team combinations and regaining personal form after returning to the starting lineup following several injury-related absences in the squad.
