Savion Williams gives the Packers a versatile option after Jayden Reed’s injury. Here’s how his role can grow—and why Kevin Zeitler should start. The post Savion Williams Could Unlock More for the Packers Offense first appeared on PackersTalk.com Blog Posts…

Bobby Santoro of Packers Talk argues that wide receiver Savion Williams could expand the Green Bay Packers' offensive options moving forward. Returning from injured reserve during a 23-13 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, Williams played 40 offensive snaps in his season debut. He caught all four of his targets for 32 yards and added nine yards on two rushing attempts while working primarily from the slot position.
Santoro suggests head coach Matt LaFleur should build on this performance to help replace Jayden Reed, who is sidelined for the season with a neck injury. With receiver Skyy Moore also injured, the writer believes the 6-foot-4, 222-pound Williams provides valuable size and versatility for quarterback Jordan Love. Santoro also recommends inserting veteran guard Kevin Zeitler into the starting lineup to solidify pass protection.
