Woods has not played a professional event since he missed the cut at The Open in 2024 at Royal Troon due to injury problems and his latest brush with the law back in March.

Kevin Kisner revealed that Tiger Woods is targeting a return to competitive golf, intending to play a full schedule for his TGL team, Jupiter Links Golf Club. Speaking on Barstool's Foreplay podcast, Kisner explained he was replaced on the team's roster because Woods plans to play, leading Jupiter Links to also sign Keith Mitchell alongside teammates Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Akshay Bhatia ahead of season three starting December 27.
Woods has been sidelined from professional golf since missing the cut at the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon due to injuries and legal trouble. The 50-year-old recently increased his practice sessions following a September no-contest plea related to a March DUI crash in Florida, which resulted in a five-year driving ban.
